Every one knows that China is the world factory; there are so many good quality products with good price in China that you can find in Internet, but be careful, there are many frauds too. You can search “scam” in Alibaba community that it has more than 6000 results that many foreign buyers report they were scammed and lost lots of money!
So how can you trust the supplier you find?
Here is the answer: Trust the supplier that has a “ Trust Supplier ID ” ! Trust the supplier that you can search this company in "I'm Verified" database.
Trust Supplier ID is a digital certificate that China suppliers can use it to digitally sign its email that send to you, to let you confirm this email is really from a verified supplier (MS Outlook will tell you this email signature is trusted). It is also can be used to digitally sign PDF document.
You can trust a supplier that digitally signed its email with Trust Supplier ID.
You can trust a supplier that digitally signed its email using “Trust Supplier ID” since we have verified this supplier's true identity:
(1) This supplier is a legal registered company in China that we checked its good standing status in local government website. This supplier's business license English translation is available;
(2) This supplier has a current demand deposit bank account in China that means its bank has verified its true identity when opening its account, and we have verified this bank account that it is active and normal status by transferring certification fee from its company bank account to my company;
(3) This supplier's phone number is verified according to its phone bill or local phone directory, and we have called this supplier's foreign trade clerk (Certificate Requestor) to verify its identity;
(4) This supplier's legal representative and foreign trade clerk's ID card English translation is available.
Trust Supplier ID is the suppliers' digital business license that contains all information that include in the paper business license. When you check the email signed by Trust Supplier ID, means the supplier sent it business license to you with his/her email.
When you received a digitally signed email that signed by Trust Supplier ID, please refer this guide that you can find the supplier's true identity information that verified. Or enter the email or company name in Trust Search to verify your supplier.

When you receive a digtially signed email from your supplier, you can click the “Signing Certificate” to view the certificate details.
Then you can see this certificate's purpose is "Proves your identity to a remote computer" and "Protects email messages", and this certificate is issued to the supplier (English name), it is issued by WoSign, and you can see this certificate's valid period. If you click the “Issuer Statement”, then it will redirect to WoSign website to let you read the CPS ( Certification Practice Statement ) to learn more about how we verified this certificate's applicant's true identity.
